Helping the Hawaiian Honeycreeper

Updated: Sep 30

It is with great pride we present to you our October cocktail of the month, The Honeycreeper. The Hawaiian Honeycreeper a species of bird that is endemic to the Hawaiian Islands, and are in danger of becoming extinct. Sadly, these indigenous birds lost half of their remaining habitat on the slopes of Mauna Kea during the wild fires this year.

We will be partnering with our October featured artist, Alexandra Petroff to donate part of the proceeds of each featured drink sold and each painting sold to protecting the habitat of the endangered Honeycreepers! Come by, say hi and help us do our part to protect these unique, beautiful birds.

Our master bartender, Gabrielle Maser has created a Big Island version of the classic Jungle Bird cocktail called the Honeycreeper, in honor of our avian friends. This drink combines the spices of the fall season with a refreshing cool tropical twist using local honey from Kailua-Kona, of course!
